We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team at Jumbo Supermarkten. As a Back-End Developer, you will play a key role in further evolving and developing our HR landscape using Java.

Salary

The gross salary for this position is between €4,100 - €5,300 per month (based on 40 hours), with an annual bonus of up to 5% of your annual salary, based on organizational goals.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a middleware layer that includes various interfaces between source and target applications. This requires robust and scalable back-end solutions that can handle the complexity of our HR landscape, serving over 90,000 employees.

You will work closely with business stakeholders and Agile development teams to gather functional and technical requirements and translate them into solution designs. Your experience with Java, Clouds (Azure and/or AWS), GIT, test frameworks, pipelines, automation, DevOps tools, and continuous delivery will be valuable assets in this role.

As a passionate developer, you will have opportunities to coach team members, review code, and learn from each other. You will also be responsible for running, maintaining, and supporting products in your team's portfolio.

Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Java developer, preferably in a food retail environment;
  • Care about the code you write and promote best practices and principles for software development within the team and the department;
  • Experience with Java, Clouds (Azure and/or AWS), GIT, test frameworks, pipelines, automation, and DevOps tools;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business stakeholders and Agile development teams;
