Marine Equipment and Component Engineer Surveyor

About the Role
Lloyd's Register is seeking an experienced Marine Engineer Surveyor to join our team in Rotterdam, Netherlands. As an Engineer Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of infrastructure by working on state-of-the-art projects and collaborating with experts to ensure the highest quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Survey marine engineering, piping, and electrical & control designs for new construction and marine components in accordance with international standards and class rules.
- Provide technical support to clients and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with experts to ensure the highest quality and safety standards are met.
- Work independently and as part of a team to prioritize work and meet LR and Clients' deadlines.
Requirements
- Degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent from a tertiary organization recognized by Lloyd's Register.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience working as a marine engineer, sea-going experience, and/or experience in the application of Class Rules for ships is advantageous.
- Proficiency in the English Language (written and oral) commensurate with the work and an ability to write detailed technical reports and design appraisal documents.
- Proficiency in the Dutch language is advantageous.
