The Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our team. As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our organization. You will report to the Manager Finance & Control, work closely with the CFO in the budgeting and reporting cycle, and form a good team with the Business Controller and accounting team.

Responsibilities
  • Setting up and executing the Financial Planning & Analysis cycle
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Developing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements, variance reports, and other key financial metrics
  • Collaborating with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets
  • Leading the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors
  • Providing financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred
  • 4-6 years of progressing experience within Finance
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in financial management software (PowerBI is a preference) and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity
  • Fluent in English
  • Self-starting and dares to challenge the business
  • Energetic attitude with an eye for improvements
