We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Expert to join our innovative team at Movella. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge software applications that drive business growth and success.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Maintain and enhance existing application software products, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
  • Drive improvements in user interface design and data processing capabilities, leveraging your expertise to create intuitive interfaces and streamline data workflows.
  • Embed machine learning algorithms into our software applications, enabling advanced functionality and predictive capabilities to enhance user experience and drive innovation.
  • Work closely with lead engineers, embedded software engineers, and hardware engineers throughout the product development lifecycle, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals and milestones.
  • Design and specify automated tests with Quality Assurance teams, ensuring robustness, reliability, and adherence to quality standards throughout the software development process.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in software development, with a strong track record of designing and implementing complex applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python, with experience in desktop application development using front-end and back-end development frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, data processing techniques, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience with test automation tools and methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Possess a passion for innovation, technology, and continuous learning in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • A competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.
