Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your primary focus will be on managing customer-specific requirements and enhancing the quality and food safety management systems for lecithin. You will address non-conformities and customer feedback, support internal and external audits, and collaborate with your team to resolve issues, make informed decisions, and propose improvements. Additionally, you will prepare various monthly and quarterly reports for internal stakeholders and actively engage in projects representing the Quality & Food Safety (QFS) department for Emulsifiers.

The QFS department for Emulsifiers at Bunge is dedicated to ensuring the safety and quality of our lecithin products while adhering to certification standards, legal obligations, and customer-specific criteria. Given the dynamic nature of our industry, staying informed and responsive is crucial.

Insights from Your Future Manager:
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of various international certifications, including ISO 22000, GMP+, organic EU, IP Non-GMO, Kosher, and Halal. You will interact with a diverse array of stakeholders, including teams at Bunge facilities and co-producer sites across Europe, as well as our Innovation R&D Center in Budapest. This role provides a valuable chance to learn from different departments, such as Sales, Production, Marketing, and Quality, with travel opportunities to Hungary, Poland, Germany, and Austria.

Qualifications:
To excel as a Quality Assurance Specialist, you should possess excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on food safety and quality. We are looking for a proactive, analytical, and organized individual with the following qualifications:

  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry, Process Technology, Food Technology, Food Safety, or a related field.
  • At least 6 months of work or internship experience in a QFS department.
  • Experience with risk assessment and quality management systems, such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP+.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Internal audit qualification is a plus.
