Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team at Working Spirit. Based in the Amsterdam area, this freelance role offers a unique opportunity to work with a client taking its first steps into the public Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a secure container platform with service mesh to host DevOps teams' applications.
  • Ensure risk controls are covered in their container platforms by implementing policies in code and creating a proof of certification that their platform is secure and risk-free.
  • Build a team focused on productization, education, and inner source way of working in the public Cloud.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of and experience with containers and container orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Experience in Python.
  • Setting up pipelines (Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with a major public Cloud provider (Azure preferred).
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Helm).
  • Helping engineers via education, consulting, or migration help.
  • CNCF technologies.
  • GitOps (Flux) and Service Mesh.
  • Observability, Risk & Security, Technical writing, and Inner source.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Dutch).
