Statistical Theory Researcher for Biological Neural Networks

The University of Twente invites applications for a PhD position in statistical theory for biological neural networks. This research project is part of an ERC consolidator grant and aims to generalize recent statistical theory from artificial neural networks to biological neural networks.
About the RoleAs a researcher, you will be responsible for developing new statistical theories that can be applied to biological neural networks. You will work closely with our team of experts in statistics, mathematics, and computer science to achieve this goal.
Requirements- You have a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- You are highly motivated and enthusiastic about research in statistical theory.
- You have excellent analytical and communication skills.
- You are fluent in English.

You will also receive a minimum of 232 leave hours per year and free access to sports facilities on campus.

LocationThe University of Twente is located in Enschede, Netherlands. As a researcher, you will be based at our campus, where you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative environment.
Estimated salary: €32,000 - €40,000 per year, depending on experience.
