About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Field Services Engineer to join our team in the Benelux region. This role will involve providing expert technical support and maintenance services to customers in the maritime industry.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with propulsion systems. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Installation and commissioning of propulsion systems on various vessels;
  • Maintenance and repair of propulsion systems, including diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues;
  • Providing on-site technical support and training to customers;
  • Maintaining accurate records of service activities.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mechanical field service, preferably in propulsion systems or a related industry;
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
