Achieve Quality Excellence as Senior Test Specialist

APG, a leading pension provider in the Netherlands, is seeking an experienced Senior Test Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of our services and applications by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies.

About the Role:
You will possess excellent analytical skills and have a keen eye for detail. Your ability to lead and communicate effectively will enable you to determine the test vision and strategy within the accounting team and translate it into actionable steps. You will work closely with the business team to translate test needs into specifications and implement them.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for accounting services and applications.
- Collaborate with the development and business teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
- Lead and communicate effectively to ensure successful implementation of test plans.

Requirements:
- At least a higher professional degree in IT or software engineering/quality assurance.
- Proven experience as a test lead or similar role with a hands-on mindset.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (ISTQB/T-Map), tools (HP ALM), and best practices.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Spec flow or MF-ALM and UFT).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with effective collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of Asset Management in particular Accounting (products and processes) is a plus.

We provide a market-based salary ($60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on knowledge and experience) and nice working conditions focused on flexibility, including:
