We are seeking an experienced Equipment Commissioning Specialist to join our team at CPM Europe.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience with equipment commissioning, installation, and startup processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that our equipment is properly installed, commissioned, and tested according to our guidelines.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their production processes and ensure that our equipment meets their requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and resolving any issues during the installation and startup phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Frequent international travel to client sites to inspect installations and commission machinery within production lines.
  • Ensuring equipment is properly installed and conducting mechanical, electrical, and control system tests according to CPM's installation guidelines.
  • Collaborating with clients to identify and resolve issues during the setup of the production line and preparing detailed progress reports.
  • Documenting machinery details using company checklists and procedures during installation and testing.
  • Participating in site project meetings and completing reports, as well as handover protocols.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a mechanically-related discipline, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in one or more European languages as your native tongue, with a strong command of English.
  • A solid mechanical mindset with relevant mechanical education, alongside foundational knowledge of industrial electrical installations and control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with the operation and maintenance of heavy industrial machinery, combined with basic understanding of electric motor drives and electrical control systems.
  • The ability to interpret operational and maintenance manuals, as well as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including:

  • 27 vacation days plus 13 ATV days (totaling 40 days off per year).
  • Excellent pension plan, with CPM covering 60% of the contributions.

Location

This role is based in Northern Europe, with frequent international travel required. You should be comfortable working in multinational industrial environments and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
