We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems and Server Engineer to join our team at NetCologne IT Services GmbH. As a key member of our IT division, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement cloud services, including configuration, provisioning, and monitoring of virtual machines, networks, and services in the cloud environment.
- Implement and maintain VMware NSX solutions for network virtualization and segmentation to ensure a secure and efficient infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams on best practices, implementation strategies, and potential risks associated with VMware and Microsoft services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare proposals, tenders, and RFPs by providing technical details and specifications of proposed IT solutions.
- Maintain, upkeep, and further develop our own data centers, which offer cloud and hosting services to our customers.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex Windows systems.
- Successful completion of an IT degree or training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable IT training.
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.
- Strong sense of service, commitment, and enthusiasm.
- Fluent written and spoken German is a prerequisite; other languages are welcome.
