What is the role?

The Vice President of Quality Assurance is pivotal in spearheading quality enhancement initiatives throughout the organization. This position is accountable for establishing and executing quality performance indicators and metrics, ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks, and innovating next-generation testing techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a profound comprehension of customer expectations and will be key in aligning our quality initiatives with industry standards and client demands. Furthermore, this leader will collaboratively shape and position HERE Technologies as a recognized authority in quality among industry analysts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Champion and propel quality enhancement projects across the organization, nurturing a culture of ongoing improvement and excellence. Define and implement quality performance indicators and metrics, analyzing performance data to identify patterns, ensure accountability, and promote transparency through regular updates. Establish and uphold superior quality standards across all products and processes, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal guidelines. Create and execute advanced testing strategies and tools, partnering with engineering teams to incorporate testing into the product development process. Comprehend and align quality metrics with customer expectations, collaborating with client-facing teams to gather insights and drive quality enhancements. Collaboratively influence and help establish industry quality benchmarks, positioning HERE Technologies as a frontrunner in quality within the automotive technology and location intelligence sectors. Engage with industry analysts and stakeholders to establish HERE Technologies as a recognized leader in quality. Maintain a relentless focus on aligning quality expectations and deliverables with customer needs, ensuring satisfaction and long-term loyalty. Set the organization's quality agenda, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and influence management team (MT) level perspectives on necessary quality initiatives. Drive outcomes through cross-departmental collaboration, working closely with various teams to implement quality enhancements and achieve organizational objectives.

Who are you?

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred. 15+ years of experience in quality management, particularly within the automotive or technology sectors. Proven success in leading quality enhancement initiatives. Strong knowledge of quality performance indicators and metrics. Experience in defining and establishing quality standards and influencing industry-wide practices. Deep understanding of customer expectations and quality perceptions, with a strong ability to align these with deliverables. Expertise in developing and implementing advanced testing methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical capabilities. Ability to work collaboratively across functions and drive cross-functional initiatives. Strong influencing skills and the ability to shape MT level perspectives on quality initiatives. Experience in positioning a company as a quality leader within the industry, including engagement with analysts and industry stakeholders.
