Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating high-performance adaptive analytics services. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to build a platform used by thousands of companies, leveraging big data analysis and artificial intelligence to drive real-time decisioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance adaptive analytics services using Java and Kotlin.
  • Optimize performance on micro and macro levels, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and consistency.
  • Partner with Global Customer Support and Service Reliability teams to troubleshoot and address customer issues.
  • Learn and grow as a professional, experimenting, innovating, and having fun.
  • Observe results of your work deployed for more than three thousand customers on cloud.

Requirements:

  • Passion for software development, with Java as a must and Kotlin as a nice to have.
  • Love simple and well-tested code that is easy to extend and hard to break.
  • Understanding of machine learning techniques and ability to apply them in real-world scenarios.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and OpenAPI, with a focus on designing efficient services and APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze, design, implement, and maintain high-quality software.
