Job Summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, services, and supplies to meet the company's production needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Obtain raw materials and services at the lowest total cost while meeting quality and delivery requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Implement and control the procurement of raw materials, packaging labels, and supply items to ensure timely delivery and minimize inventory levels.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Develop and maintain forecasts for raw material and packaging materials to meet production demands.
  • Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance data and sub-standards to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and analyze reports to measure procurement performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a procurement/buying role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems, and strong analytical and communication skills.
