About the Role

We are seeking a talented Category Manager to join our team at Neways Electronics International NV. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the category strategy, managing supplier accounts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Manage a portfolio of supplier accounts, including contracting, performance management, and relationship building.
  3. Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies.
  4. Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  5. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical business field, such as electronics, mechanical engineering, or technical business administration.
  2. Relevant procurement certifications.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and German (desirable).
