About the Role

The Contract Manager will be responsible for supporting both Project Leads and Project Directors in the execution of their duties. This includes setting common goals with contractors, creating an open culture, and addressing mutual risks. The successful candidate will also support the project team and procurement in defining contracting strategy and advising on MEAT criteria.

Key Responsibilities

- Set common goals with contractors
- Create an open culture with contractors
- Address mutual risks, ensure flexibility, and feasibility for contractors while adhering to TenneT's requirements and standards
- Support the project team and procurement in defining contracting strategy and advise on MEAT criteria
- Participate in the drafting of contracts, examination of contracts/specifications, and support of contract negotiations
- Coordinate and align with other contract managers
- Ensure uniform interpretation of contractual clauses and treatment of claims and implementation of lessons learned from other projects
- Regular reporting to responsible overall project managers (PD/FPD)

Requirements

- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Contract Manager for major construction projects
- Verifiable experience in the Offshore business
- Verifiable experience with FIDIC
- Legal and/or Commercial and/or Technical background/university degree
- Open and transparent communication
- Willingness to travel
- Pro-active
- Accurate
- Task-oriented
