Safety Engineer Position

Are you looking for a challenging role in electrical safety? Enercon, an international leader in wind turbine technology, is seeking a skilled Functional Safety Engineer to join our team.

This position involves working on high-tech wind turbines characterized by cutting-edge technology. You will be responsible for calculating Safety Integrity Level (SIL) and Performance Level (PL), consulting with specialist departments on technical solutions, preparing documentation for functional safety, examining the implementation of security functions, evaluating hardware and software solutions according to functional safety specifications, and making agreements with external experts and authorities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects and contribute to the development of our industry-leading technology. We offer a competitive salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a bonus scheme of 4% over annual salary, lots of vacation days (27 vacation days and 13 ADV days), possibility to work from home, good pension scheme, lease bicycle scheme, sports discount scheme, commuting allowance, business travel allowance, and a home office allowance.

To be considered for this role, you should have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science, knowledge of ISO 13849, IEC 61508, and ISO 12100, strong assertiveness, goal-oriented action, good presentation and communication skills, technical and business-fluent English, and functional safety engineer expertise according to ISO 13849.
