About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Solutions Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands. As a Datacenter Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining complex data center hardware and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical installation, rack and stack, cabling and networking of data center hardware.
  • Assist/support in the implementation of server, storage and network equipment.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of hardware solutions.
  • Work with the engineering team to ensure hardware is installed correctly according to specifications.
  • Perform quality checks and test functionality after installation.
  • Provide first-line technical support to end users via telephone, email and ticketing system.
  • Refer complex issues to higher level support teams when necessary.
  • Be willing to travel (internationally) to carry out installations at customers or solve problems in data centers.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in maintaining complex X86 systems and components in a data center environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Informatica, Computertechniek and Elektrotechniek or comparable level obtained through experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a good command of the English language.
  • Demonstrable skills in analyzing and diagnosing server hardware. A good understanding of how BIOS, drivers and loading of applications can cause system problems.
  • Ability to work in a challenging, dynamic and fast-paced environment. You must be solution-oriented, a team player who can identify and signal problems in a timely manner and proactively offer solutions.
  • Emphasis on break/fix and on-site customer service.
  • Hands-on experience with server hardware.
  • You are representative, have a valid driving license B and live within a radius of 40 km from 's-Hertogenbosch.
