Responsibilities:
The S1AI division serves as a center of excellence within our Engineering team, focusing on developing cutting-edge products that demonstrate the capabilities of the latest technologies. This division also delivers these products to market through a platform that can be utilized by other engineering teams and enhances the skills of our personnel to innovate and create using these technologies.
As a member of S1AI, you will engage in at least one comprehensive project, collaborating with one or more of our specialized teams:
- Platform Team: Responsible for developing and managing Serenity, our operational AIOps environment, which serves as the foundation for Purple and other intelligent services. This team emphasizes system architecture, software engineering expertise, and operational excellence.
- Research Team: Focused on experimentation, algorithm design, and evaluation methodologies necessary for transforming concepts and techniques into intelligent systems.
- Knowledge Team: Engaged in acquiring and curating the essential knowledge and datasets required to build well-informed systems. This team prioritizes database and information design, understanding elicitation methods, and the emotional intelligence needed to organize and engage subject matter expert communities.
All three teams operate at a rapid pace in two-week sprints and convene weekly to share challenges, product ideas, and discuss the latest technical advancements and obstacles.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience with independent projects utilizing LLMs, Foundation Models, or other contemporary machine learning technologies.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with tools related to machine learning experimentation, system development, and deployment.
- Significant coursework in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Machine Learning (or equivalent experience in another quantitative field), with a clear understanding of the intersection between CS and ML.
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
- Ideally, possess a strong practical understanding of current practices and challenges in the field of cybersecurity.
