About the Role
We are seeking a talented Regulatory Advisory Expert to join our Credit Transformation Office team at ABN AMRO Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a clear vision for target regulatory compliant and efficient credit lifecycle processes based on client needs, regulatory requirements, and findings.
- Identify gaps between the vision and current processes, and advise on suitable solutions for closure.
- Understand the background of ECB observations and findings, and ensure a common understanding within ABN AMRO.
- Assess solutions based on signals during OSI and expert opinions, and define the direction for addressing observations.
- Define the proper action owner based on the chosen solution.
- Ensure mitigants or risk acceptances are in place where required.
- Identify root causes of deficiencies in credit risk processes and dependencies, and propose sequencing of solutioning.
- Maintain a high level of combined regulatory and operational knowledge of lending.
- Bring in best practices based on deep understanding of market developments.
About the Team
The Regulatory Finding Management & Advisory team is located within the Credit Transformation Office, ensuring strategic management of regulatory requirements and findings within FS and securing their resolution via FCD initiatives or tactical solutions.
About You
- You have a keen interest in lending, regulations, change, and credit risk.
- You understand business and financial risk dynamics and have a good understanding of the lending side of banks.
- You thrive in a high-performance environment and are a strong team player.
- You're proactive, entrepreneurial, and change-driven.
- You have in-depth regulatory expertise and experience with bank policies and regulations in the field of credit risk.
- You have good project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- You have a strongly developed risk mindset and first-line-of-defence principle.
