We are seeking a skilled Technical AV Specialist to join our team at Abroad Experience International Recruitment. As a leading global recruiter, we have partnered with one of our international clients based in Amersfoort, who is a world leader in audio visual components for global markets.
As a Technical AV Specialist, you will become a top-notch technical expert on professional Audio Visual products, Audio Visual System Design, and related applications. This position is a technical engineering role within the Sales Department, requiring a unique blend of technical and sales/customer service skills.
Your primary responsibilities will revolve around manning the 'Hot Line support system, which involves performing both technical/engineering and sales/customer service tasks.
- In-house product testing for technical issues experienced in the field;
- Answering the Hot Line support calls and troubleshooting technical problems with professional AV systems over the phone;
- Developing a thorough understanding of the product line, product functions, features, and applications;
- Training sales team members and new employees as well as dealers and end-users;
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a graduate degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering from an accredited college or university, along with 3-5 years of experience in Audio Visual Systems Design and/or Implementation.
Additional requirements include native written communication skills in Italian and English, as well as the ability to present products, solutions, and technology to clients. A team-oriented individual with a professional and friendly attitude is also essential.
