Main Responsibilities




  • Develop and lead the engineering department, consisting of 13 engineers across mechanics, electrical engineering, and software development disciplines.
  • Oversee the technical feasibility of customer and innovation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications, costs, and regulations.
  • Manage departmental results, including customer project outcomes, product designs, and quality, manufacturability, and maintainability.
  • Lead Hytrans Innovation projects and develop the patent portfolio.
  • Implement and manage the growth of reusable semi-finished products within the Hytrans product platform to enhance design productivity.
  • Optimize departmental tools and processes, ensuring efficient work agreements and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute the annual department plan, periodic reports, and shareholder consultations.
  • Cultivate optimal cooperation within Hytrans, fostering a customer-oriented organization.


Requirements




  • At least 7-10 years of management experience in a relevant field.
  • HBO or WO diploma in a technical field supplemented by business administration and leadership courses.
  • Experience in a project-based organization with mobility (e.g., agriculture, yacht building).
  • Extensive mechanical engineering, drive technology, hydraulics, mechatronics, and fluid dynamics knowledge.
  • Familiarity with international quality and product standards.
  • A flexible, customer-oriented attitude and experience in a developing organization.
  • Good command of English; German is an asset.
