Main Responsibilities

To provide technical support and maintenance services for Ishida equipment and systems in the Netherlands and at Ishida sites. This includes installation, repair, and commissioning of equipment, as well as training for customers and Ishida personnel.

Key Accountabilities

  • Install and commission Ishida equipment and full lines, including OEM equipment.
  • Repair Ishida and OEM equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide training for customers and Ishida personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Complete service order site reports and prepare spare part quotations.
  • Develop the aftersales market in the cluster by contacting existing customers proactively.
  • Ensure maximum assistance in achieving financial targets set for the department.
  • Adhere to customer site rules and standards at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and Ishida personnel to resolve ongoing issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the service helpdesk, aftersales management team, and projects department.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a technical or engineering degree, excellent communication skills, and extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical disciplines. You must be IT literate, have excellent administration, organization, and planning skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Demonstrable experience gained within a food, engineering, or manufacturing industry.
  • Technical training delivery.
  • Experience within a field service-based role.
  • Proven experience of machine installation, fault finding, and repair.
