Job Title: Naval Gun Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Naval Gun Software Engineer to join our team at Thales, a leading international technology company. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing advanced fire control systems for naval gun systems.

About the Role

As a Naval Gun Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software solutions for our Fire Control Systems, which are used to protect ships and other units from above-water threats. You will work closely with our software and system architects to design and implement software components, ensuring that they meet the required safety and security standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software components for Fire Control Systems using C++ and Java
  • Collaborate with software and system architects to ensure that software components meet safety and security standards
  • Work with agile teams to develop and test software solutions
  • Use high-tech techniques and software development methods to ensure efficient and effective software development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in C++ development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
  • Dutch nationality
