About the Role

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately €60,000 - €80,000, depending on location and experience. As a Maintenance Technician at Dow, you will provide craft-specific support to plants, maintain and repair equipment within your knowledge and expertise, and act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and correct equipment problems.
  • Calibrate and align equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities.
  • Check the sizing of components and parts.
  • Specify, requisition, and install parts and equipment.
  • Coordinate maintenance spare parts.
  • Assist in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance through planner, work coordinator, and operations input.
  • Set up and calibrate, test, measure, and repair all types of controls and instruments with pneumatic, electrical, and electronic variables.
  • Repair, maintain, and install equipment and machinery used in the process.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions and document failure analysis.
  • Collect equipment operation and history data to facilitate reliability improvements.
  • Work within established Maintenance Work Processes and help resolve issues that surface as a result of planning and scheduling work.
Requirements
  • A short-cycle tertiary degree (Associate's Degree) plus maintenance, manufacturing, or other related experience preferred. In lieu of degree, equivalent years of experience required.
