Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer III to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for building, improving, and supporting our Box Sign platform. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with other engineers, and lead large-scale projects to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure cloud-based applications using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to align on requirements and drive project success.
  • Model solid engineering practices, including architectural design, testability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Partner with product managers to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Contribute to the development of our cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, deployment, and management of cloud resources.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience in an object-oriented or functional programming language.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for solving hard technical problems.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
