We are seeking an experienced TypeScript Back-end Lead to join our team at Coolblue. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building and leading a team that delivers robust software.

Job Description

In this role, you will be working closely with our product owner, customer journey specialist, designer, and analyst to guide the team in the right direction. You will ensure code quality by applying best practices and conducting code reviews, while continuously looking for ways to improve collaboration and productivity.

You will foster an open culture where feedback is the norm, so new team members feel at home quickly. Together, you will build software that delights our customers.

This is what we're looking for:

  • At least 3 years of experience with TypeScript in the back-end in scalable projects
  • Experience with PHP is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in coaching and team development
  • Leadership skills that foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere
  • Strong communication skills to clearly explain complex decisions
  • Problem-solving ability and familiarity with SOLID, TDD, and BDD principles
  • A keen eye for code quality and a natural preference for agile working
