About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Commercial Trainee to join our team as a Procurement Specialist. As a key member of our Buying Department, you will play a vital role in shaping the product range by introducing new products and optimizing procurement processes.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies
- Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and suppliers
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms
- Analyze data to optimize procurement processes and improve overall efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a commercial or economic field
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (internship experience welcomed)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
The Offer
- A competitive base salary of approximately €3,300 gross per month
- 24 days of holiday and the option to buy 5 extra days
- 15% staff discount on purchases
