Job Title: Business Controller Fleet Management

Job Description:

As a Business Controller Fleet Management at Boskalis, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of our fleet management department. Your primary responsibility will be to provide financial stewardship, ensuring that our fleet management operations are financially sound and aligned with the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analyses of all aspects related to our vessels, including repair, maintenance, and equipment rentals.
  • Budgeting: Draft, monitor, and challenge budgets for vessel-related projects to ensure they are aligned with company objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Compile and present various management reports and conduct business economic analyses at both the business unit and project levels.
  • Transaction Processing: Ensure accurate processing of transactions related to investments, modifications, repairs, and equipment rentals.
  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with project leaders, fleet managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a (project/business) controller in a similar environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of Excel and strong analytical skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong personality, excellent communication skills, and a healthy dose of pragmatism and proactivity.

Additional Information:

  • Team Size: You will be part of a team of 16 controllers working in the office in Papendrecht and abroad.
  • Work Arrangement: For office-based roles, you will work partly at home and partly in the office.
  • Job Type: Full-time (32-40 hours a week).
