Senior Design Manager

As a Senior Design Manager in our Menswear Knits team, you will be responsible for leading the design and execution of seasonal collections for our Sweaters and Jersey product category. You will manage a team of 6 designers and work closely with developers, merchandisers, and the Senior Design Director to plan and develop each season's collection.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute seasonal range plans for review with the Senior Design Director and VP of Design.
- Research trends and conduct market research to inform the Tommy Hilfiger Menswear brand strategy.
- Translate research and trends into a commercial TH Menswear collection.
- Collaborate with product developers to ensure a smooth workflow each season.
- Work closely with the Technical Department to execute garment fittings.
- Present collections to the merchandising team and management as requested.
- Meet deadlines and ensure that the Tommy DNA is seen in each garment.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design - Menswear.
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in leading Men's brands, with at least 8 years of knit experience.
- Commercial mentality with consumer insights.
- Solid knowledge of garment specifications, fitting, and pattern making.
- Eye for details with extensive knowledge of fabrics, knits, and yarns.
- Passion for men's fashion with a good sense of style.
- Great sense of color and patternation.
- People management experience of 4+ years.
- Team-player, mature, and flexible.
- Excellent computer skills (Illustrator/Photoshop) and hand-drawn skills.
- 3D experience a plus.
- Ability to translate trends into a commercial collection with a contemporary handwriting.
- Capable of working in a hectic and always-changing environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Open communicator and able to work with multiple personalities.
- Willing to travel to Europe and Asia for supplier/vendor visits.
