Your Tasks

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our team at RTL NEDERLAND BV. As a key member of our Videoland Onboarding team, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of our frontend built by the Videoland Onboarding team.

  • Own small- to medium-sized features, guiding them from inception through completion on time.
  • Provide thoughtful, constructive code reviews.
  • Follow best practices and industry standards regarding architecture and software design.
  • Be actively part of the high-quality code culture.
  • Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by the team.
  • Actively work to improve your craft and be a better programmer.
  • Participate in the Guilds and share knowledge, encouraging and developing good engineering practices.
Your Profile

We are looking for a passionate software engineer with a good understanding of the core frontend web technologies (JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, React, etc.).

  • A completed university or higher vocational education, preferably in the field of Computer Science.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience working as a front-end developer.
  • Living in the Netherlands and able to work together with the team in our Hilversum office at least 2 times a week.
  • Passionate about technology and always eager to learn new things.
  • Diligent and kind, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
