The Clinical Trials Centre (HKU-CTC) is a leading platform for managing and facilitating international-standard clinical trials. We are seeking a talented Laboratory Technician to join our team and contribute to the advancement of healthcare through clinical research.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process and handle biospecimens for clinical trials
- Undertake pre-trial preparation, laboratory kits and consumables management
- Perform biospecimens processing, storage, packaging and shipping
- Manage records and ensure quality control
- Communicate with research teams and collaborators
As a Laboratory Technician at HKU-CTC, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with comprehensive training provided to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Biological, Medical or Laboratory Sciences degree or equivalent
- Experience in laboratory operations or clinical trial operations (basic knowledge of Good Clinical Practice is an advantage)
- Good laboratory skills and commitment to quality and compliance
- Detail-minded and able to multi-task, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese for effective communication
A highly competitive salary and benefits package will be offered, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The appointment will commence as soon as possible for one or two years, renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
