Position Overview
As a key player in the Rituals brand, you will be responsible for the design of retail spaces that align with our brand ethos and guidelines.
Are you a creative thinker with analytical skills to deliver optimal retail design solutions?
Your role encompasses the entire design process for Rituals stores globally, from the initial decision to secure a location to the final handover to the Sales team. You will develop store layouts, façade designs, and elevations, preparing various design options while managing stakeholder feedback and approvals throughout the design stages.
You will actively engage with both internal and external collaborators to ensure each project achieves the highest design standards. Your daily tasks will include:
- Conducting feasibility assessments for new retail locations and collaborating with the Real Estate and construction teams.
- Creating innovative store designs and implementing fresh design concepts.
- Reviewing and approving lighting plans.
- Maintaining an online database of store designs.
- Producing 3D models and visual presentations.
- Participating in refurbishment projects to keep our stores modern and appealing, working closely with the Visual Merchandising department and other stakeholders.
- Delivering presentations on store design and new concepts.
- Managing multiple design projects concurrently.
During the construction phase, you will coordinate with the internal operations and construction teams, addressing technical inquiries and devising creative solutions to any challenges that may arise.
Your Profile
You will be part of the Retail Design team within the Rituals Format & Design department, based at our headquarters. Reporting to a Team Lead in Store Design, you will contribute to enhancing the customer experience in our stores while maintaining the high-quality atmosphere that Rituals is known for.
We seek an individual who is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a unique perspective on design. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in architecture or interior design, preferably in retail.
- Proficiency in design software such as Vectorworks 2D/3D, Revit, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Excellent communication skills in English, as our department operates internationally.
