Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Business Partner to join our team in Rotterdam, Benelux. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global company that is expanding rapidly across Europe.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of financial accounting and control, as well as strong analytical and technical skills. As a Senior Financial Business Partner, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the group's (interim) financial information under strict deadlines. You will also provide clear guidance and instructions to accounting employees and support them in a proper work allocation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the group's (interim) financial information under strict deadlines;
  • Provide clear guidance and instructions to accounting employees and support them in a proper work allocation;
  • Review and analyse financial results via data analysis, including key trends, and variance analysis;
  • Ensure accurate and complete trial balance submissions from international entities not currently integrated within global general ledger system;
What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work with a supportive manager who will help to develop your professional skills, but you will spend every day using your subject matter expertise to solve business problems.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Financial Accounting/Control would be beneficial but not essential;
  • A few years' experience in financial controlling or internal auditing;
  • Previous experience of working in a European scale organization;
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office);
  • Fluent in English and strong verbal and written communication skills;
