About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Linux Network Engineer to join our SICS Platform team at ASML. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software core facilities and configurations, collaborating with users on functionality design, and contributing to software realization using agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain software core facilities and configurations
  • Collaborate with users on functionality design and contribute to software realization
  • Work with a talented team to enhance, manage, and maintain operating systems, network, and storage solutions
  • Reduce manual actions required, enhance security, provide higher availability, and create and configure Linux operating systems using Python
Requirements
  • Technical University Bachelor or University of applied sciences Bachelor (HBO) in a Computer Science or a related technical field
  • At least 5 years' of relevant working experience in complex technical environments
  • Solid experience as a Linux developer or equivalent within a high-tech, enterprise environment
  • Scripting languages such as Python, Bash
  • Knowledge of C/C++ is nice to have
  • Experience in configuring, using, and debugging network technologies such as DNS, DHCP, Routing, NTP, and NFS, WindRiver
  • Experience in working with large code bases and configuration management systems (e.g., GIT, Artifactory)
  • Experience in creating high-level designs and writing documentation
  • Knowledge of continuous delivery process and technologies (GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, Jira)
  • Experience with hardware architectures like x86, PPC, GPU
  • Working in Agile environment (Scrum/SAFe, MVP thinking)
