About the Role:
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Senior Research Assistant/ Research Assistant I/II in the School of Public Health at HKU. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on various research projects, collaborate with a team of experts, and contribute to the advancement of public health knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct statistical analysis and data management using R and other relevant software
- Collaborate with researchers to design and implement research studies
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems
- Provide technical support and training to research staff
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Public Health, or related disciplines
- Strong statistical and mathematical sense
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills
- Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of statistical software and programming languages
