Job Title: Linehaul Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Linehaul Supervisor to join our team at FedEx. As a Linehaul Supervisor, you will play a key role in achieving operational goals and service commitments by coordinating and balancing work amongst a team of dispatch agents, planners, and international drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and balance work amongst a team of dispatch agents, planners, and international drivers to achieve customer satisfaction through timely departures and arrivals within our network at optimized costs.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the team, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance.
  • Ensure that processes and procedures are completed promptly and consistently, and that team activities are in line with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and resolve complex linehaul problems and incidents, and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure timely and correct administrative data entry in diverse transport management systems.
  • Maintain contact with other LPCs, RTHs, drivers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Recent experience in a busy transport and/or dispatch environment.
  • Good language skills (Dutch and English oral and written required, other European languages will be considered an advantage).
  • Excellent social and communication skills.
  • Flexible, discrete, team player, problem solver, hands-on mentality, creative thinker.
  • Affinity with and knowledge of transport management systems.
  • Knowledge of local laws (transportation, driving times).
  • Good Microsoft Office & PC skills.
  • Excellent geographical knowledge.
  • Focused on result, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Driven to solve problems while using planning and organizing skills.
  • Able to communicate and align with different stakeholders, including drivers.
  • Ability to manage own and team's time effectively with attention to detail in a pressurized environment.
