Job Description:

TenneT is a leading player in the energy transition, and we are looking for a skilled Strategic Project Buyer to join our Supply Chain Management Team in the Grid Field Operations Offshore area.

As a Strategic Project Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing activities, including developing sourcing strategies and identifying supplier market trends. You will also conduct active stakeholder management, maintain market knowledge, and proactively manage contracts with the business.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in economics or business administration, extensive experience in procurement activities, and excellent communication skills in Dutch and English. You will work result-oriented, customer-focused, and analytically, with the power of persuasion and the ability to form personal judgments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing activities, including developing sourcing strategies and identifying supplier market trends.
  • Active stakeholder management, maintaining market knowledge, and proactively managing contracts with the business.
  • Collaborating with the Supply Chain Management Team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in economics or business administration.
  • Extensive experience in procurement activities, especially EU Tender law.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Result-oriented, customer-focused, and analytical with the power of persuasion and the ability to form personal judgments.
