The role of a Freight Operations Coordinator is crucial in ensuring the smooth transportation of goods worldwide. Our Logistics team in Rheden, Netherlands, is seeking an individual to assist in planning and controlling multi-modal inbound and outbound shipments, while adhering to Dutch and international laws and regulations.

• Coordinate logistics planning to ensure timely delivery of products worldwide;
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international trade rules, regulations, and laws;
• Process import duties and obligations in a timely and accurate manner;
• Accountable for inbound and outbound transport operations;
• Coordinate with third-party logistic suppliers and manage relationships;
• Plan, control, and coordinate shipping activities in accordance with HMRC/customs regulations;
• Negotiate and place purchase orders for freight services and offsite storage;
• Monitor and control freight forwarders used for shipping, adhering to company health and safety policies and purchasing procedures;
• Prepare shipping documentation in coordination with other departments;
• Maintain trade compliance records.

• MBO degree in Logistics or equivalent qualification;
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position;
• Proven expertise in customs, international freight, and industry regulations;
• A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and hands-on working style;
• Team player and self-starter mentality;
• Fluency in English language.
