We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Estimator to join our Offshore Energy team at Boskalis. As a Cost Estimator, you will play a key role in the tender phase, from kick-off to submission, ensuring that all internal processes are completed on time and that the various departments provide their input in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for advising on different scenarios and associated cost estimates for our projects, utilizing your analytical and accurate approach to provide results-driven solutions. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the project team with work preparation, such as drawing up a concept plan and initiating a working budget.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and maintaining cost estimates and budgets for offshore energy projects
- Collaborating with the tender team to ensure timely completion of the tender phase
- Providing risk management advice during risk sessions in the tender or implementation phase
- Supporting the project team with work preparation and inventory management
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience as a Cost Estimator in a project-oriented company in Offshore Energy, preferably in Renewables
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Engineering, such as Civil Engineering, Maritime Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or Technical Business Studies
- In-depth knowledge of contract management and financial-economic business processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
