About the Role:

As a highly motivated and analytically driven professional, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of mergers and acquisitions transactions, financial advisory services, and strategic initiatives for clients across the Benelux region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify potential M&A opportunities, including company valuation, financial modeling (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis).
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation to support deal execution.
  • Assist in conducting due diligence, market research, and industry analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Support the execution of live transactions, including managing data rooms, coordinating with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscapes to provide strategic insights to clients.
  • Work closely with senior bankers and clients to provide high-quality advisory services.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Private Equity, Corporate Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with a solid understanding of corporate finance principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, etc.).
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative.
