Job Title: Market Supply Chain Lead

About the Role:

Ferring Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly skilled Market Supply Chain Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the market supply chain, ensuring efficient and smooth coordination between functions and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement market forecasts to reflect sales demand, ensuring accurate understanding of market requirements and regular reviews.
  • Coordinate with Regional SNO on supply, demand, and critical issues, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Lead local customer service functions, including order management, invoicing, returns, complaints, deviations, and in-market transportation.
  • Manage contracts and technical agreements with 3PL, ensuring excellent service and adherence to KPIs.
  • Align with Regional/Global SNO on inventory parameters, including safety stock, cycle stock, and proactive obsolescence management.
  • Collaborate with Regional/Global SNO, Local Regulatory Affairs, Local QA, and Commercial teams to ensure market requirements and priorities are met for Change Implementations and New Launches.
  • Lead and/or participate in projects aimed at improving sales, service levels, and/or reducing costs.
  • Control the budget assigned to our 3PL partner, ensuring services are provided at the highest level possible, monitoring KPIs, and improving processes to streamline operations.

Requirements:

  • University degree in science, economics, or business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years industry experience in Supply Chain in an International environment.
  • Minimum 2 years in a role with regular interaction with Senior Management.
  • Previous experience in warehousing and distribution, order to cash, and/or distributor management.
  • Experience in Demand Planning and ERP Tools, e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, as well as other data analysis tools.
  • APICS qualification an advantage.
  • Proven change management experience, including working with mind-set change/focus.
  • Effective communication, persuasion, and influencing, including up to country GM level.
  • Able to lead and participate in problem-solving across functions, regions, and businesses.
  • People management – responsible for recruiting, training, and development of direct reports.
  • Fluent in one or more national languages and English.
  • Dutch will be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Excel.
