The Team
You will lead the evolution of the 'TH Product Teams', steering change and fostering alignment to enhance operational efficiencies. This will create the necessary time and space for strategic innovation within the organization.
The Role
As the VP of Planning & Strategy, you will head a central team responsible for crafting and executing the long-term strategic growth plan. Your focus will be on ensuring a unified vision across all business units while enhancing our planning capabilities through:
- Strategic range planning: Develop merchandise strategies that align with KPIs to support brand growth objectives, closely collaborating with global markets.
- Product lifecycle management with an emphasis on demand forecasting.
- Global forecasting: Act as the central liaison between global markets and brands to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Standardized reporting of brand-level insights.
- Translating, prioritizing, and executing long-term product goals and strategic brand initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Streamlining processes and milestone planning for continuous improvement.
- Engaging key stakeholders across the organization.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience: Over 10 years of leadership in Merchandise Planning and Allocation, with a minimum of 15 years in the MPA field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus.
- Skills: Proven track record in analytical and problem-solving capabilities, driving results through innovative solutions. Ability to balance quantitative and qualitative data when formulating strategies. A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and a passion for exploring new methodologies. Experience in leading large teams and managing multiple direct reports, with a history of talent development and succession planning.
