Job Title: Senior GL Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial professional to join our team as a Senior GL Accountant. As a key member of our General Ledger Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review monthly accruals and provisions, with a focus on payroll-related items;
  • Reconcile all balance sheet items and prepare documentation for review;
  • Prepare VAT Returns, including journal entries;
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts, including loans/interests and invoices;
  • Process bank entries related to the GL;
  • Participate in the month-end closing process;
  • Participate in the statutory accounts audit;
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of financial or accounting experience, preferably in a large international organization;
  • Minimum HBO level educational background in accounting, finance, economics or related field;
  • Strong technical skillset in Office software applications;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently;
  • Some familiarity and experience with ERP Systems, preferably Oracle;
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma would be considered a plus;
  • Strong command of the English language required, Dutch preferred;
Compensation:

This role will have a monthly salary between 4500 and 5500 depending on knowledge level and experience.

We will proceed as follows: within four working days, we will let you know if you qualify for the position. We will schedule an introductory interview, either digitally or in-person. During this interview, we will inform you as fully as possible about the vacancy, the company, and the following steps in the procedure. After consulting with you, we will introduce you to our client and then continue to guide you through the application process.
