Senior Corporate Governance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Governance Specialist to lead and manage corporate governance and company secretarial needs for our client global payments entity. Reporting to the Director, EMEA Company Secretary, you will oversee a team of three professionals based in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage corporate governance for our licensed payments entities in the Netherlands, UK, Mexico, and Taiwan;
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Compliance Director and other legal team members on governance and secretarial matters;
  • Ensure the right governance structures and board responsibilities are in place, including overseeing the Supervisory Board and preparing for all board meetings;
  • Manage company secretarial matters in the EMEA region, ensuring timely and accurate filings;
  • Support audit and reporting requirements;
  • Implement scalable processes and tools for team effectiveness;
  • Provide strategic, forward-thinking advice to internal teams, ensuring proactive readiness for future challenges;
  • Efficiently manage outside counsel as needed;
  • Interpret and apply relevant regulations for our business models in your regions of responsibility.
