About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager to join our team at Databricks. As a Technical Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the product roadmap and ensuring that our features meet the highest user performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical field teams to identify product improvements and prioritize the product roadmap.
- Establish and maintain performance benchmarks to ensure our product meets the needs of our customers.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure that product improvements are well-presented to the field.
- Help take the product to market and guide its adoption among our customer base.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a technical product management role, with a strong hands-on technical background.
- Empathy for customers, particularly data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists.
- Domain expertise in data warehousing and strong experience working with DWH benchmarks and/or price/performance PoCs.
- Experience analyzing and quantifying different technology's capabilities at a deep level.
- Experience writing Python and SQL, as well as systems design and architecture.
- Experience working with both product and technical teams.
