About the Role
The TealHelix project at VU Amsterdam is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student assistant to support research, analysis, and administrative tasks related to this innovative initiative. As a student assistant, you will work closely with Associate Professor Michail Kokkoris and Dr. Jonathan D'hondt to contribute to the development of personalized and inclusive labelling approaches for sustainable food.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist in research and analysis tasks related to the TealHelix project
- Support the development of research proposals and reports
- Contribute to the design and implementation of surveys and experiments
- Help with data collection and entry
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports
Requirements
- Enrollment in a Master's program
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Interest in sustainability, technology, and innovation
- Knowledge of research methods and experimental design
- Statistical skills (e.g., SPSS) and survey programming skills (e.g., Qualtrics)
- Excellent speaking and writing skills in English language
What We Offer

- A salary of € 2,000 (SA) gross per month, on a full-time basis
- A position for 0.1 FTE, with an initial contract duration of 1 year
