We're on the hunt for a seasoned Turbomachinery Engineer to join our R&D team and contribute to the development of our next-generation turbomachinery solutions. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a dynamic team driving the world's energy transition and reducing emissions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop gas turbine components and assemblies using mechanical engineering principles.
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) simulations and calculations to support design decisions.
- Participate in technical investigations and lead projects as required.
- Collaborate with suppliers to set up and qualify manufacturing processes.
- Manage development projects and tasks, mentoring junior engineers along the way.
- Provide technical support to Supply Chain, Operations, and Field Service teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design of gas turbine components.
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
- Experience with FEA tools.
- Bonus points for knowledge of high-temperature materials and manufacturing processes.
- Previous experience in lifetime assessments of gas turbine components is a plus.
- Essential competencies include written and verbal communication skills, results-driven approach, initiative, knowledge, and problem-solving abilities.
