Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at ASML's EUV scanner division. As a key member of our data analysis team, you will work closely with engineers and researchers to develop advanced machine learning algorithms for analyzing large datasets from our EUV scanners.


The primary focus of this role will be to build software tooling that integrates statistical process control of vacuum systems machine data and signals. This will involve:



  • Developing and implementing machine learning models to identify trends and patterns in data from our EUV scanners;
  • Collaborating with hardware owners to link outliers and trends to possible failure modes and physical processes;
  • Creating dashboards and automating statistical process evaluation for real-time SPC monitoring (single- and/or multi-variate).


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in machine learning, Python scripting, MATLAB programming, and statistics. Additionally, you should be proficient in working with large datasets and have experience with data visualization tools.


A bachelor's or master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Physics, or a related field is required. You must also be fluent in English, both verbal and written.



Benefits


As an intern at ASML, you will receive a monthly internship allowance of maximum €600, plus housing and free public transport. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment and gain practical guidance from experts in the field.



Salary


The estimated salary for this role is approximately €3,500 per month, based on the location in the Netherlands and the level of experience required.
