Cell Line Development Specialist

The Cell Line Development Intern will support the team in testing and setting up new equipment in the platform process for high titer producing cell lines with selection of cell lines which give high quality of proteins for our GMP production for the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform transfections and selections of clonal cell lines.
  • Test stability of cell lines and the quality of the proteins.
  • Work with the team to create, optimize and develop new processes in the cell line development area.
  • Administrate and document carefully all experiments.
  • Grow cells, freeze cell banks and produce proteins.

Requirements

  • Take the initiative, enjoy working in a group, and inspire others with your enthusiasm.
  • Meet the following professional requirements:
    • Be an intern from HLO education or equivalent, connected to a Dutch School of Applied Sciences.
    • Love to work in a cell culture lab and have an interest in documentation.
    • Be a team player; be flexible and love to work on the laboratory.
    • Have strong communication skills and a proactive approach to working in a team.
    • Be flexible and capable of running several projects parallel to each other and adjusting priorities appropriately together with the team.
    • Recognize the importance of working according to the agreed research-based Quality System, which includes adhering to procedures and detailed documentation of your work.
    • Have an interest in documentation.
